Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum five years of full-time professional experience in PM, Construction, Design, Operations, Contract Administration, Architecture, Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing, or related fields.
  • Minimum three years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Minimum three years of administrative experience with construction consultants or contractors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize contract records, change orders, amendments, correspondence, and project documentation.
  • Review contract documents for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to project requirements.
  • Coordinate with program managers, contractors, consultants, and client representatives on all contractual matters.
  • Assist with procurement activities and support contract closeout processes.
  • Prepare monthly status reports, contract summaries, and management presentations.
  • Monitor budgets, expenditures, and contract performance metrics to support project controls.
  • Support risk management and claim avoidance through accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and contract requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide contract administration support throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Supervise administrative staff as required.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project management tools to manage contract documentation and reporting.

Your impact

Jacobs is seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Contract Control Specialist to support contract administration, project controls, compliance tracking, and documentation management for the New York City School Construction Authority (NYCSCA) Emergency Program. This role works closely with program managers, contractors, consultants, and client representatives to ensure all contract documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements are accurately maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, contract administration experience, and the ability to manage multiple contracts across a fast paced capital program.

Key Responsibilities

Here's what you'll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of full-time professional experience in one or more of the following Project Management, Construction Management, Design Management, Operations Management, Contract Administration, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/Plumbing Systems, or related technical/construction fields.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience working with Construction consultants, and/or Construction contractors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

The base salary range for this position is $97,000.00 to $107,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
