Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a senior SCM contracts professional to draft, review, and negotiate complex service, consulting and engineering agreements using approved templates and risk guidelines.

You will coordinate with SCM, Legal and business stakeholders to consolidate positions, address deviations, and finalize contracts that support timely sourcing, supplier performance, and auditability. Strong contract law knowledge and persuasive communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Six years of supply chain or oil and gas experience required.
  • Experience drafting complex agreements and negotiating terms.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills; attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and risk.

Job description

:This position provides senior‑level Supply Chain Management (SCM) contracts support for complex agreements across Enbridge. The role is accountable for drafting, negotiating, and finalizing contractual terms using established templates, policies, and approved positions, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk tolerance. Partners closely with SCM, Legal, and business stakeholders to deliver consistent, compliant, and efficient contracting outcomes

Specific Accountabilitie
  • s:Independently draft, review, and negotiate moderately complex agreements (e.g., Service Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Engineering Service Agreements) using Enbridge‑approved contract templates and standard clause
  • s.Facilitate and support supplier negotiations on contractual terms and conditions within defined risk parameters, escalating non‑standard or high‑risk deviations to Legal or senior SCM leaders as require
  • d.Coordinate internal input from SCM personnel, Legal, and other functional stakeholders to consolidate positions and resolve contractual issue
  • s.Review and respond to supplier redlines by applying approved contractual standards, past precedents, and documented risk guidanc
  • e.Provide contract drafting and negotiation support to SCM and business stakeholders to enable timely sourcing and procurement activitie
  • s.Advise on appropriate contract type selection in alignment with SCM policies, processes, and approved sourcing strategie
  • s.Support contract execution processes by handing off finalized agreements to SCM teams for PO or Master Agreement releas
  • e.Maintain contract records, documentation, and lifecycle status updates in designated systems to support auditability and complianc
  • e.Promote consistent application of approved contract language, processes, and best practices within the SCM Contracts Cente
