KeenLogic seeks a Communications & Design Specialist to lead the Communications and Branding Alignment Project for the Executive Office / SECSEN. The role blends editorial standards with visual branding across offices to streamline publishing and outreach.

You'll manage milestones, develop style guides, templates, and reference materials, while collaborating with the U.S. Senate Printing, Graphics & Direct Mail team to deliver consistent, accessible communications for internal and external

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in communications management, editorial coordination, or publications workflow.
• 3+ years of graphic design experience, with branding identity, templates, layout, and print collateral.
• Proven milestone tracking, meeting facilitation, schedule management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong writing and editing skills with clear structure, consistency, and accessible tone.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset respecting office practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall project execution, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Organize collaborative review sessions and workshops with directors and staff.
• Serve as central contact for updates, providing progress reports to Executive Office.
• Maintain centralized project schedule and proactively address bottlenecks.
• Inventory external communications and create documentation of drafting practices.
• Build master editorial calendar aligning publication schedules across offices.
• Create design templates, visual layout standards, and branding guidelines.
• Design submission memos and map review workflows to streamline approvals.
• Draft guidance documentation and support SECSEN branding policy development.
• Collaborate with Senate design teams to propose innovative design solutions.
