Job summary

KeenLogic is seeking a Communications Specialist to support the Executive Office / Secretary of the Senate with the Communications and Branding Alignment Project. The role focuses on editorial standards, visual branding, and streamlined review processes across SECSEN offices.

The position collaborates with directors, manages milestones, and develops templates, style guides, and design templates for newsletters and outreach materials. Hybrid schedule with remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in communications management, editorial coordination, or publications workflow.
• 3+ years of graphic design experience, including brand identity, templates, and print collateral.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities with milestones, meetings, and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong writing and editing skills with clear structure, consistent tone.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within offices.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall project execution with timelines and deliverables.
• Facilitate collaborative sessions with directors and staff to gather feedback.
• Serve as central point of contact for updates and progress reports.
• Maintain centralized project schedule and proactively address bottlenecks.
• Inventory external communications and design assets across SECSEN offices.
• Document current drafting practices and distribution channels.
• Create master editorial calendar aligned with office publication schedules.
• Design templates and visual branding guidelines for office needs.
• Draft guidance documentation and support a SECSEN branding policy.
