Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an Application Developer to join a long-term modernization program that modernizes pension systems into a cloud-native Azure platform in Oklahoma City. You will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications serving thousands of users.

The role emphasizes C#, .NET, Angular 16+ development, REST APIs, SQL expertise, and Azure DevOps/Git usage within an Agile team to deliver secure, scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of application development experience
• Strong experience with C# and .NET development
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Angular 16+ development experience
• Strong SQL development and database experience
• Experience using Azure DevOps and Git
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies
• Experience developing cloud-based applications within Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and modern software architecture
• Experience with application modernization projects is highly preferred
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET, Angular, SQL, and Web APIs
• Build and support RESTful APIs, integrations, and automation workflows
• Participate in Agile development activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and code reviews
• Create and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable application components
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and defect resolution
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and technical specifications
• Contribute to application architecture, design decisions, and development best practices
• Develop and maintain Azure-based solutions supporting cloud-native applications
• Utilize Azure DevOps and Git for source control, deployment pipelines, and project tracking
• Submit pull requests and participate in peer code reviews
• Support modernization efforts involving legacy system replacement and cloud migration initiatives
• Create technical documentation and assist with knowledge transfer activities
