Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Hampshire County Sheriff’s Department, Northampton, MA, seeks a part-time contract clinician to facilitate treatment groups with inmate and probation participants. The role requires documenting and following the curriculum under the supervision of the Treatment Manager and Program Manager.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology, Education, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work, knowledge of CBT, and experience with the criminal justice

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Clinical Psychology, Education, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
• Knowledge and experience in delivering Cognitive Behavioral Treatment; experience with criminal justice population preferred.
• Understanding and utilization of Motivational Interviewing techniques.
• Must maintain confidentiality for access to client records.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate treatment groups meeting the curriculum standards.
• Participate in required meetings.
• Perform other tasks as assigned or required.
