Position Summary

The Contract Beautician will provide salon services to residents within our long-term care and rehabilitation facility. Services may include haircuts, shampoos, sets, styling, and other basic beauty services.

The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, personable, and compassionate, with a genuine enjoyment of working with seniors.

What You’ll Do

• Provide hair care services including shampooing, cutting, styling, and sets

• Help residents feel confident and cared for through personalized salon services

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area

• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and facility staff

• Schedule appointments and manage service times efficiently

• Follow all infection control and safety procedures

• Supply your own tools and products unless otherwise arranged

What We’re Looking For

• Current North Carolina Cosmetology License

• Experience working in long-term care, senior living, or with an elderly population preferred

• Compassionate and patient demeanor

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

• Dependable and professional

• Ability to work independently as a contractor

• Professional liability insurance preferred
