Job summary

A growing pharmaceutical manufacturing site is seeking a hands-on Contract Automation Engineer to support automation activities during a facility expansion. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining Allen-Bradley PLC systems, supporting equipment commissioning, and ensuring automation supports reliable manufacturing operations. Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years of industrial automation experience, a strong knowledge of Rockwell PLCs, and an associate degree or equivalent practical experience.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of hands-on industrial automation experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Rockwell / Allen-Bradley PLCs and ladder logic.
• Experience with equipment controls, plant networks, and systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain Allen‑Bradley / Rockwell PLC systems.
• Support equipment commissioning, startup, and integration activities.
• Interface new and existing equipment with the site automation network.
