Job summary

MG+M The Law Firm is seeking a Part-Time Contract Attorney to join our California offices in Irvine, Los Angeles, Walnut Creek, or San Francisco. The role centers on substantive motion practice, including drafting and reviewing MSJs and other dispositive motions in complex toxic tort litigation.

The candidate will help with legal research, briefing, and analysis of case records and depositions, collaborating with a team of attorneys on toxic tort matters.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to practice in California.
• Strong litigation-based motion practice experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Prior toxic tort experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft and revise Motions for Summary Judgment, oppositions, and related briefing.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on substantive and procedural issues.

MG+M The Law Firm (MG+M) has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Contract Attorney in any of our California office locations: Irvine, Los Angeles, Walnut Creek, or San Francisco. This role will support the Toxic Tort Practice Group and will primarily focus on substantive motion practice, including drafting, reviewing, and supporting Motions for Summary Judgment (MSJs) and other dispositive motions in complex toxic tort litigation.
