ABOUT THE ROLE

The Google Play Gift Card Contract Associate will be responsible for managing contracts for the Retail Payments and Activation team. This person will serve as the key link to consolidate all business requirements and facilitate business deals, from drafting to signing.
This role requires exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills, with comfort in ambiguity and juggling multiple tasks under strict deadlines. A proactive approach, high drive, and creativity are essential to continuously improve your area of responsibility. You should be comfortable communicating across cultural, country, and time-zone boundaries.

- Conduct research on business opportunities and prepare findings in presentation formats.
- Manage projects from contract preparation, drafting, execution, to filing, negotiation, and closure. Follow up on action items and documentation.
- Develop detailed work plans for projects and ensure their execution to meet business goals.
- Facilitate meetings with partners and internal teams, set agendas, manage calls, take notes, and drive action items.
- Build strong partnerships with regional teams, demonstrating technical capability, stakeholder management, and effective communication.
- Review contract provisions, synthesize findings for stakeholders, and process contract terms according to Google policies.
- Organize and maintain the team’s contract database and intranet site.
- Support onboarding and train other team members in business development.
- Assist in business development projects, including developing work plans, conducting compliance research, and preparing presentation materials.

- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in project and partner management.
- 3+ years managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), with experience in business presentations and planning.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, and excellent communication and business partnership skills.
- Critical thinker and problem solver, capable of root cause analysis and data-driven decisions.
- Flexible to participate in meetings across different time zones.
- Team player with the ability to handle multiple priorities and shifting demands.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and customer service orientation to manage stakeholders and clients.
- Results-driven with the ability to deliver insights and impact.

- Familiarity with contracting processes, negotiation, and working with Legal teams.
- Experience in business analytics and quantitative modeling.
- Knowledge of the gift card and/or payment industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contracts for the Retail Payments and Activation team, from drafting to signing.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate contract negotiations and execution.
- Maintain accurate contract records and documentation.
- Support business development initiatives and strategic projects.
