What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Coordinate and schedule committee meetings across ESEAP, South Asia, and CEE time zones
  • Prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action items for committee meetings
  • Maintain committee documentation and knowledge systems to ensure seamless operations
  • Facilitate communication and support knowledge-sharing among committee members and stakeholders
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance committee efficiency

What is Required (Qualifications):

  • Candidate must be based within the East, Southeast Asia & Pacific (ESEAP), South Asia, Middle East, or North Africa
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Community Operations or a similar role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of additional South Asian or ESEAP languages is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with online collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Zoom, and project management tools like Asana

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience supporting volunteer committees, working groups, or community networks
  • Familiarity with Wikimedia projects, open-source communities, or global nonprofits
  • Experience coordinating translation/interpretation or accessibility needs
  • Comfort working independently and remotely
