Base pay range

$75.00/hr - $85.00/hr

Beacon Hill's client, a full-service firm with an outstanding reputation is searching for a remote contract attorney with arbitration experience.

Details:

• Start: ASAP
• Location: Remote but must be licensed in MA, IL or CA
• Schedule: Likely 40 hours/week
• Estimated Duration: 2-4 months (Concurrent employment not permitted)
• Hourly Pay: $75-$85/hour, depending on experience

Requirements:

• Must be barred in MA, IL or CA
• 3+ years of experience taking and/or defending depositions, or trial preparation experience
• Knowledge of mass arbitration rules
• Trial or arbitration experience - this could be opening/closing experience or experience with arguing motions
• Must have solid writing and communication skills - a lot of communication between parties, arbitrator, including a lot of verbal communication (writing sample required)
• MUST have the ability to think on your feet and be flexible
• Must be a quick learner

*Please note, candidates without deposition, trial preparation, or arbitration experience are not a fit

• Nature of the case: Wage and disputes/mass arbitration
• Main Task: Doing arbitrations in front of an arbitrator; the firm has a template brief and template discovery to work from.
• The team is very collaborative! They work together constantly and work well together!
• You will gain extensive experience
