Responsibilities:
  1. The Contract Administrator provides oversight, management, coordination, organization, and communication of payor contracting activities for each of the ABC Medical family of companies.
  2. Maintain company payer agreements, addendums, renewal terms, notifications, and due dates.
  3. Interpret payer requirements and ensure systematic implementation in company processes.
  4. Collaborate with sales and internal teams to communicate contracting status and pursue contract expansion opportunities.
  5. Analyze payer rules, denials, and internal processes to improve profitability.
  6. Pursue, negotiate, and maintain contracts with payers such as insurance companies, IPAs, TPAs, and government programs.
  7. Understand insurance policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance.
  8. Support operational teams with payer expertise to reduce billing denials and improve collections.
  9. Identify profitability opportunities within assigned payers.
  10. Coordinate with Legal and Credentialing teams to facilitate accurate, compliant contracts.
  11. Provide contract summaries and execute contracts per company policy.
  12. Research territories to identify gaps and pursue expansion.
  13. Report progress and status of payor agreements to management.
  14. Maintain provider directory/database for payer enrollment.
  15. Assist with contracting administration and projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree, or 5 years of relevant healthcare contract experience.
  • Professional interaction skills with team members, management, government, and payer personnel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional handling of special requests.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Meticulous organization and filing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with medical insurance companies, IPAs, TPA preferred.
  • Familiarity with DME and medical supply reimbursement, including Medicare and Medicaid plans.
  • Knowledge of Brightree software preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex payor issues.
Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: $57,709 - $90,685, based on experience and location. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, Employee Share Ownership Program (BESOP), and other wellness and retirement benefits.
