InterConnect Wiring in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Estimator/Contract Administrator to read and interpret engineering drawings and military specifications, gather data, and develop quotes for customers.

You will negotiate pricing, manage data entry staff, write multi-year proposals, monitor contracts, and serve as the main customer interface for contractual issues, while traveling to meet clients.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and military specifications
  • Gather, evaluate, and analyze data (using current and historical data) to develop quotes for customers
  • Negotiate pricing and terms of conditions with customers
  • Manage and coordinate the work of data entry personnel
  • Write and develop multi-year, multi-million dollar proposals for our customers
  • Monitor on-going contracts to assure conformance with the terms and conditions, on-time payment, and ensure completion of requirements
  • Serve as primary customer interface for all contractual issues
  • Ensure orders processed quickly and accurately
  • Ensure customer requests are acted upon quickly
  • Act as a liaison between customers and production
  • Travel and meet with customers to negotiate future and existing contracts
  • Attend supplier conferences as InterConnect's representative
  • Calculate and submit pricing for engineering changes
