Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Contract Administrator to manage prime contracts after award, support proposals, and negotiate contract changes. You will monitor performance, prepare correspondence, and interface with program management and technical staff.

Required is a bachelor’s degree in business administration and at least three years of US Government contracting experience. Strong documentation and Microsoft Office skills are essential, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience contracting with US Government or USG Prime Contractors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to manage contracts post-award and support proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Administers prime contracts post-award, including data deliverables and contract requirements.
  • Resolves contractual issues with customers and end-users.
  • Participates in preparation of New Business Proposals and Contract Change Proposals.
  • Reviews labor, material, subcontract proposals, and travel estimates.
  • Prepare contractual correspondence for primes and subcontracts.
  • Research FAR/DFARS and agency supplements as required.
  • Interface with subsidiaries and manage Interdivisional Work Requisitions (IWRs).
  • Maintain familiarity with technical program aspects and coordinate with management.
