Discovery Land Company in Puerto Rico is seeking a full-time Contract Administrator to support Moncayo Golf & Ocean Club. You’ll manage day-to-day contracting across Development, Construction, Legal, Finance, and outside consultants, handling a high volume of contracts and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

The role requires 3–7+ years in contract administration or related fields, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Moncayo Golf & Ocean Club, set outside of Fajardo, Puerto Rico.

Moncayo Golf & Ocean Club is seeking a full-time, year-round Contract Administrator to support the development and construction of the Moncayo project.

Job Summary

The Contract Administrator will help manage the day-to-day contracting process across the project, working closely with Development, Construction, Legal, Finance, Accounting, and outside consultants and contractors. This is a hands‑on project administration role for someone who is comfortable managing a high volume of contracts, deadlines, documentation, and follow‑up items in a fast‑moving development environment. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate contracts from initial request through review, approval, execution, administration, and closeout.
• Maintain accurate contract records, including agreements, amendments, change orders, purchase orders, and related documentation.
• Track key contract terms, deadlines, insurance requirements, deliverables, and approvals.
• Coordinate with Development, Construction, Finance, and Accounting regarding contract commitments, changes, and payment documentation.
• Support the administration of change orders, additional services, amendments, and other contract modifications.
• Work with Legal to develop and maintain standard forms, contracting procedures, checklists, and playbooks.
• Administer routine contracting matters within established processes and promptly elevate issues to Legal when substantive legal review or judgment is required.
• Help ensure that project teams consistently follow Moncayo’s contracting and approval procedures.
• Maintain organized and complete contract files and support reporting, audits, diligence, and project closeout.
• Prepare periodic contract‑status reports and proactively follow up on outstanding items.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Approximately 3–7+ years of experience in contract administration, construction administration, project controls, procurement, real estate development, or a related field.
• Experience with large-scale real estate development, construction, hospitality, or other complex capital projects preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
• Comfortable reading commercial contracts and identifying issues that require additional review.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and document‑management or project‑management systems.
• Organized, proactive, persistent, and comfortable working across multiple teams.
• Enjoys creating structure, keeping processes moving, closing open items, and making sure important details do not fall through the cracks.
• Experience working for an owner/developer, general contractor, construction manager, architecture or engineering firm, or similar project-based organization would be particularly relevant.
