Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Contract Administrator for Federal Hub Gas Plant Projects on behalf of WECTEC Staffing Services. This 1-year contract role, located in Juno Beach, FL, may be remote for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience managing engineering and construction projects with responsibility for budget oversight and execution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Federal Hubs Program Office and stakeholders on contract performance reporting.
• Serve as primary point of contact between project team and Federal Hub Owner's Representative for contract communications.
• Maintain a contract deliverables requirements matrix (CDRM).
• Ensure submission of all required reports, plans, and documentation.
• Review and flow down applicable Federal Hub contract clauses to the project team.
• Track RFIs, submittals, and correspondence logs for a defensible record.
• Lead negotiations of contract modifications and change orders with project controls and legal.
• Participate in schedule reviews to assess contractual risk and milestones.
• Conduct contract closeout activities and finalize documentation.

We are looking for a Contract Administrator - Federal Hub Gas Plant Projects on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) You will join the Engineering & Construction division. You will administer and manage all prime contract obligations under Federal Hub contracts, ensuring the performance aligns with contractual requirements, milestones, and deliverables. This role supports a high-priority, schedule-driven gas generation project and requires a comfortable candidate operating.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the internal Federal Hubs Program Office (FPO) and relevant stakeholders on contract performance reporting, schedule submittals, and required certifications
• Serve as the primary point of contact between project team and Federal Hub Owner's Representative (OR) for all contract-related correspondence and formal communications to ensure all deliverables are complete submitted
• Maintain a contract deliverables requirements matrix (CDRM) and
• ensure submission of all required reports, plans, and documentation
• Review, interpret, and flow down applicable Federal Hub contract clauses to project team, including EPC obligations, equipment supplier requirements, and service provider responsibilities
• Track and administer Request for Information (RFI), submittal, and correspondence logs to maintain a defensible contemporaneous record of project decisions and commitments
• Lead the identification, preparation, pricing, and negotiation of contract modifications, change orders, and equitable adjustments (EAs) with project controls and legal
• Participate in project schedule reviews to assess contractual risk associated with the compressed construction timeline and flag exposure related to liquidated damages or important milestone obligations
• Conduct contract closeout activities including final invoice reconciliation, release of liens, demobilization verification, and submission of all required closeout certifications and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Experience: 6+ years of experience managing engineering and construction projects with responsibility for budget oversight and execution.
• Will work on planning, scheduling, and quality management during project execution.
