Job summary

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close tasks, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable support, and assisting with audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance-related position.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain financial transactions and accounting records.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance.
• Complete bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
• Help prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Review transactions and research discrepancies as needed.
• Provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist with audit-related requests and documentation.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
• Provide additional accounting support and assist with special projects as needed.
