Acara Solutions is seeking an detail-oriented Accountant in San Antonio, TX for a 9-month contract. You will support financial reporting, reconciliations, and research, ensuring GAAP compliance and contributing to audit readiness.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver accurate insights. The role requires 2+ years in Excel/Workiva and experience with ERP systems like SAP, PeopleSoft, or Hyperion, along with strong communication skills and a team-oriented

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or auditing.
• 2+ years of experience in Excel, Workiva, and financial reporting tools.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to prepare and analyze financial reports.

Responsabilités

• Perform general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial and statistical reports with variance analysis.
• Develop audit schedules and documentation for external audits.
• Conduct technical accounting research and recommend policies aligned with standards.
• Review and improve accounting processes and communicate findings to stakeholders.
