Sage GroupHealthCare Staffing is seeking an RN LTC for a travel/contract position in Rose City, MI. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Shift timings: 12 Hours; Days, 7.00 am - 7.30 pm

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, M-F, with weekends as needed. Holiday rotation if needed

Position Requirements:

Job Description:

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance withapproved nursing techniques and facility policies and procedures.
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments andexaminations of residents.
• Observes residents, records significant conditions and reactions, andnotifies supervisor, physician and family of resident’s condition and reactionto drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
• Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs todetect deviations from normal and assess condition of resident.
• Observes nursing care and visits residents to ensure that nursing careis carried out as directed, and treatment administered in accordance withPhysician's instructions.
• Responsible to document admissions, discharges, transfers and incidentreports per facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in the care plan process, completes nursing assessments andresident care plans accurately and timely on assigned residents.
• Maintain resident confidentiality; treat residents with kindness,dignity and respect; know and comply with all Resident's Rights rules; andpromptly report all resident accidents and injuries to charge nurse.
