Job summary

Ironside Human Resources is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a rural Alaska assignment northwest of Anchorage. This full-time, 14-week travel role includes housing and travel provided.

Must be ARDMS certified with BLS and have 1–2 years of ultrasound experience. You will perform General, OB, Carotid, and DVT exams and manage lab operations in a remote hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Performs diagnostic sonography and communicates results.
• Operates and maintains the sonographic equipment and lab workflow.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound.
• Independently operate sonographic equipment and perform exams.
• Manage daily operations of the lab, schedule, and equipment maintenance.
• Competent in General, OB (1st–3rd trimester with anatomy scans), Carotid, and DVT exams.

Pay: $90.00/hourly

Rural hospital several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, AK seeking a full-time, travel Ultrasound Technologist. Travel contracts are 14 weeks in length withhousing and travel provided.

Travel Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity:

• Travel Ultrasound Technologist provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures
• Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography
• Travel Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment
• Will need to be competent in General, OB (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester with anatomy scans), Carotid, and upper and lower DVT exams.

Travel Ultrasound Technologist Qualifications:

• Travel Ultrasound Technologist must have ARDMS
• BLS certified
• At least 1-2 years of experience
