Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking dedicated classroom associates to support students with special needs in small group or 1:1 settings. You will build rapport, foster a safe learning environment, and take direction from lead educators to assist where needed.

This role offers paid training, weekly direct-deposit pay, W-2 employment, and opportunities to participate in background checks, a 401(k) plan, and referral rewards.

Qualifications

• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks.
• College credits, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or CBEST.
• Experience with special education settings or roles is a plus.

What you’ll do:

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

You’ll stand out if you have:

• Worked with children who have Special Education needs
• Spent time in Special Education settings
• Any Special Education specific training
• ABA experience (Applied Behavior Analysis)
• Experience working in K-12 schools
• Experience with assisting in various mod to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1:1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom
