Scoot Education is seeking a Paraprofessional & Behavior Interventionist in San Jose, CA. You will support students with special needs in small group or 1:1 settings, build rapport, and help create a safe learning environment under guidance from lead educators.

Experience with ABA and Special Education settings is a plus; state and federal background checks are required. Roles are non-exempt with hourly pay and opportunities for ongoing training and benefits.

What you'll do:

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

You'll stand out if you have:

• Worked with children who have Special Education needs
• Spent time in Special Education settings
• Any Special Education specific training
• ABA experience (Applied Behavior Analysis)
• Experience working in K-12 schools
• Experience with assisting in various mod to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1:1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom
