Do you want to be a part of a team that makes a difference in the lives of children and families? As the CQI Coordinator for the Children, Youth and Families (CYF) division, you will have a lead role in improving practice and increasing efficiencies in our service delivery. CYF provides child welfare services for Fairfax County, including prevention, protection, preservation, placement, and permanency services. Working under the general supervision of the CYF Assistant Division Director for Operations, this position will lead continuous quality improvement efforts in CYF. This role includes supervision of three CQI staff.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in a field related to the assigned functional area; Plus four years of professional work experience within the functional area.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
None.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and a Child Protective Services Registry check to the satisfaction of the employer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Extensive knowledge of human services processes, policies, and programs focusing on child welfare. Experience assisting organizations with practice improvement and project implementation. Knowledge of best practices in social work, specifically in child welfare. Supervisory, project management, and case review experience. Strong organizational skills. Clear and concise oral and written communication skills. Master’s degree preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sufficiently mobile to conduct site reviews and attend meetings off-site. Ability to use automated technology. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
