• Current Underground MSHA Experienced Miner Training certification.

Job Description

Operate miner to gather coal and convey it to shuttle cars or other haulage equipment.

Determine appropriate locations for operations or installations.

Reposition miner to make additional holes or cuts.

Drive miner into position at working face.

Ensure safe, efficient operation of miner in compliance with Company Policy, State Laws, and Federal Laws.

Observe and listen to equipment operation to detect binding, stoppages, or malfunctions.

Monitor extraction operations continuously.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on miner as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Continuous Miner Operator.
• Current Underground MSHA Experienced Miner Training certification.
