Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of technical/mechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.

• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in key process improvement assignments (mechanical/administrative).
• Complete kaizen shop work orders and CI team requests.
• Perform print shop related duties.
• Support implementation of new processes and improve current ones.
• Measure the performance of improvements.
• Support 5S and kaizen events.

Pay Range $23.61 - $33.03

Remington is seeking a Continuous Improvement Technician to assist Continuous Improvement (CI) professionals and other site employees in the execution of kaizen activities through builds in the CI shop and the Print Shop. The application of lean concepts, problem solving skills and good communication will be central to this position. This position reports to the Director of Continuous Improvement and is located out of our office in Lonoke, Arkansas.

You Have

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of technical/mechanical experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Knowledge of production processes preferred
• Good problem solving skills and analytical ability
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic writing and math skills
• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Personal computer skills; including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
• Hands on experience using basic hand tools and power tools preferred
• Experience working cross functionally with many teams to accomplish a shared goal
• Driver's license required

• Experience in AutoCAD or similar design programs
• Experience with Graphtec or similar software
• Forklift and scissorlift experience

As The Continuous Improvement Technician, You Will

Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.
