Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Continuous Improvement Trainer to empower staff with World Class Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices in an office setting.

You will train, coach, and lead CI initiatives across teams, collaborating with global headquarters to accelerate process improvements and apply Lean methods to customer, product, and process analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business/engineering or related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Defining and solving problems with quality tools (Ishikawa, 5 Whys, 5W2H, PDCA, DMAIC).
  • Drive improvements with lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, SIPOC, Kaizen).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across organization levels.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Electrical/Mechanical/Technical background is a plus but not required.
  • 3+ years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Train internal staff on World Class Manufacturing and Six Sigma for office environment.
  • Coordinate and lead training sessions with CI Champions.
  • Coach project teams to apply lean methods.
  • Partner with CI and Six Sigma at global headquarters.
  • Identify and drive key process improvements with the CI Manager.
  • Apply understanding of customers, products, and processes to problem analysis.
  • Learn and use WMS Office with global CI.
  • Lead Kaizen events and WMS Office projects.
  • Promote CI capabilities by training on WMS Office and Lean Six Sigma tools.
  • Act as a process management coach integrating Lean principles.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Support the Continuous Improvement Department by training internal staff on World Class Manufacturing and Six Sigma programs adapted to the office environment
  • Coordinate and lead training sessions with Continuous Improvement Champions
  • Coach project teams
  • Partner with the Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma Departments at global headquarters
  • Work closely with Continuous Improvement Manager to identify and drive key process improvement initiatives to increase process efficiencies
  • Apply understanding of customers, products, and processes to support business problem analysis
  • Partner with WEG global Continuous Improvement Department to learn internal tool, WMS Office
  • Lead Kaizen events and WMS Office projects assigned by Continuous Improvement Manager
  • Promote the growth of Continuous Improvement capabilities across the organization by facilitating training on WMS Office and Lean Six Sigma tools
  • Act as a process management coach by integrating knowledge of Lean principals
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Defining and solving problems using quality tools and methodologies including Ishikawa diagrams, 5 Whys, 5W2H, PDCA, and DMAIC
  • Drive process improvements with lean tools and methodologies including Value Stream Mapping, SIPOC, and Kaizen
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within all levels in the organization
  • Project Management experience a plus
