  • Provide SME on payroll integrations, processes, data flows, and system capabilities.
  • Evaluate enhancements ensuring alignment with objectives and client needs.
  • Guide teams through complex problem-solving with analytical/technical expertise.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Lead change management initiatives to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Champion tech-enabled solutions delivering long-term business value.
  • Represent the organization in cross-functional initiatives and executive discussions.
  • Support payroll operations and staff readiness for scalable solutions.
  • Align priorities with Retirement Services, Payroll, Product, Technology, Compliance, Finance, and Ops.
  • Offer process improvement recommendations in cross-functional settings.

The Senior Manager, Business & Continuous Process Improvement is responsible for leading strategic business initiatives, operational excellence efforts, payroll integration implementations, processing, and client service delivery within Retirement Services. This role combines payroll operations expertise, business and process change management, training, technical consulting, and project management to drive scalable solutions.

The Business & Continuous Process Improvement Senior Manager is accountable for training and developing talent, optimizing business processes, ensuring successful implementation delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business analysis efforts including requirements gathering, business process evaluation, impact analysis, solution design, testing support, validation, implementation and training.
  • Partners with Product and Technology teams define scalable solutions that align business requirements with strategic objectives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on payroll integrations, business processes, technical requirements, data flows, and system capabilities.
  • Evaluate system enhancements and process changes, ensuring alignment with operational/business objectives and client needs.
  • Guide teams through complex problem-solving efforts requiring analytical and technical expertise.
  • Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead change management initiatives that improve efficiency, client satisfaction, and organizational performance.
  • Champion innovation and adoption of technology-enabled solutions that drive long-term business value.
  • Represent the organization in cross-functional initiatives, sales engagement, strategic, and executive-level discussions.
  • Support payroll operations and cross functional team development and readiness efforts related to process and scalable business solutions with staff development and readiness efforts.
  • Partner with Retirement Services, Payroll, Product, Technology, Compliance, Finance, and Operations leaders to align priorities, influence, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to offer process improvement recommendations on key business projects and objectives in a cross functional/matrixed environment.
Qualifications
  • In-depth understanding of payroll operations, retirement services, payroll integrations, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable operational and technology solutions.
  • Experience with project management, stakeholder management, and organizational change management.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to lead projects through complexity and ambiguity while meeting project expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across matrixed organizations without direct authority.
  • Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and operational controls.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, Operations Management, or related field.
Experience
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in payroll operations, retirement services, business process management, consulting, implementation, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and developing people leaders.
  • Experience managing client-facing service and operational organizations.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale business transformation, process improvement, or implementation initiatives.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects involving technology, operations, and business stakeholders.
