Job summary

RTX seeks a detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Quality Engineer to join the Operations Quality Assurance team in Tucson, AZ, onsite. You will interface with QEs and factory teams to identify quality issues, drive improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The role offers growth in Lean, Six Sigma, and Quality Assurance within a dynamic, high-demand environment. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, perform root-cause analysis, and coach others in problem-solving

Qualifications

Typically requires a bachelor’s in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and five years of related Quality, Operations, Engineering experience.
Experience in data analysis and developing actionable metrics to identify improvement areas.
Experience with engineering principles and design analysis techniques.
Experience in supporting design and/or manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Use structured problem-solving methodologies, data analysis, and Lean/Six Sigma tools to identify opportunities and optimize workflows.
Partner with cross-functional factory teams to implement solutions and monitor results.
Ensure improvements align with business objectives, customer requirements and compliance standards.
