Job description

Our client is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager in PA. You will assist in production operations to drive improvement in manufacturing efficiencies by utilizing continuous improvement techniques.

  1. Be responsible for managing and leading continuous improvement projects, as well as mentoring Green Belts.
  2. Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodology throughout the manufacturing facility and processes.
  3. Implement tools such as Process Capability.
  4. Develop DFM, working closely with Design.
  5. Drive the standardization of processes and implementation of metrics and best practices.
  6. Support production process development with full documentation.
  7. Collaborate with Quality and Test teams to deliver a robust and cost-effective end-to-end process.
  8. Maintain KPI targets aligned with business strategy.
  9. Assist in setting annual operational targets and drive improvements to meet those targets.
  10. Identify and implement new technologies, define requirements, justify Capex, and oversee planning and implementation.
  11. Provide World Class Manufacturing techniques to support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
Skills and Experience
  1. Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred; training available for Green Belt development.
  2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
  3. A degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related discipline is highly desirable.
  4. Strong knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies and systems planning.
  5. Experience working in cross-functional business teams preferred.
  6. Proven ability to self-manage and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally.
  8. Reliable and adaptable approach.
