Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. partners with a Fortune 100 CPG manufacturer in California to hire a Continuous Improvement Manager. This role leads the CI program across the manufacturing facility, coaching teams and shaping a culture of continuous improvement.

You will own pillars such as TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, and digital tools, work with cross‑functional teams, and deliver measurable KPI improvements through coaching and standardized practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing operations experience in food, beverage, or CPG industries.
• Minimum of 7 years leading TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar CI programs.
• Leadership experience managing teams, projects, or operational functions; formal people‑management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, production systems and processes.
• Proven track record in process optimization, productivity and cost-reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence and build a culture of continuous improvement across the facility.
• Coach and mentor CI pillars, partnering with site leadership.
• Lead CI pillars such as Focused Improvement, Continuous Skills Development, and Autonomous Manufacturing Development.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to implement improvements.
• Develop teams in data analysis, project prioritization, root-cause problem solving, and sustainable corrective actions.
• Lead CI initiatives and projects delivering measurable KPI improvements.
• Promote Lean methodologies through coaching, auditing, and engagement.
• Champion digital transformation and adoption of technology and tools.
• Collaborate with leaders to standardize best practices and accelerate performance.

Judge Direct Placement is partnering with a Fortune 100 CPG manufacturer in California who is searching for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Continuous Improvement Leader, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and building a culture of continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Serve as a coach, mentor, and subject matter expert for all Continuous Improvement pillars, partnering closely with site leadership teams.
• Lead and own key CI pillars, including Focused Improvement (FI), Continuous Skills Development (CSD), and Autonomous Manufacturing Development (AMD).
• Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and other teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities across the plant.
• Coach and develop teams in data analysis, project prioritization, root‑cause problem solving, and sustainable corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects that deliver measurable results against key business and operational KPIs.
• Promote and reinforce Lean methodologies through ongoing coaching, auditing, and engagement across all functional areas.
• Champion digital transformation initiatives by driving the adoption and optimization of technology and digital tools.
• Collaborate with plant and enterprise Continuous Improvement leaders to standardize best practices, share learnings, and accelerate performance improvements.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, production systems, and operational processes.
• Demonstrated success driving process optimization, productivity improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and operational excellence programs.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate change, and develop high‑performing teams.
