Responsibilities
  • Lead Lean Transformation Initiatives: Drive end-to-end lean transformation projects, including planning, implementation, and evaluation phases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and develop comprehensive lean strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement lean methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Utilize tools such as value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and 5S to drive process improvements.
  • Change Management: Act as a change agent to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and successful implementation of lean initiatives.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs on lean principles, tools, and techniques to build capability and empower employees to drive improvement at all levels of the organization.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Help establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of lean initiatives. Monitor progress and track performance metrics.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to lean methodologies and continuous improvement. Apply insights to refine existing processes and drive innovation within the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10 plus years) leading lean transformations in a manufacturing, supply chain, or service industry environment.
  • Strong understanding of lean principles, including value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, visual management, and waste reduction techniques.
  • Demonstrated expertise in change management, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
