Job summary

CapstoneONE Search represents a Fortune 500 manufacturing organization seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive Lean manufacturing and CI strategy onsite.

You will lead the CI group, deploy Kaizen, 6S, and waste-elimination initiatives, collaborate with maintenance and operations, and train teams to sustain improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in technical field is preferred/degree required.
• Candidate should possess at least 4 years of CI/Lean manufacturing experience within high speed manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the onsite efforts on Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement.
• Act as a resource for continuous improvement techniques (e.g., Hoshin/Kanri, Kaizen, Lean).
• Lead the CI group and interface with maintenance and Operations to drive site-wide improvements.
• Facilitate CI events to drive 6S, yield improvement, waste elimination, and production process improvements.
• Engage production personnel to participate in improvement opportunities and communicate changes effectively.

Job description

We are representing a FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader that will be responsible for Lean Manufacturing and CI strategy while executing deployment driving margin through sustainment of plant KPI's/deliverables and waste elimination.

Position Overview:

• Candidate will lead the onsite efforts on Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement.
• Act as a resource to the organization for the use of continuous improvement techniques such as the Hochin, Kaizen and various Lean Manufacturing techniques and other improvement methods.
• Lead the activities of the CI group including their interaction with maintenance function, Operations to drive site wide improvements.
• Facilitate special CI events activities to drive 6S, plant improvement performance in capitalizing on removing waste and improvement of yield, and production processes.
• Drives engagement with production personnel to participate suggest improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to effect change in a manufacturing environment and ensure improvement activity is being communicated, understood, and supported within the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate groups and deliver continuous improvement training.
