Job summary

Fortune 500 manufacturing organization seeks a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive Lean Manufacturing strategy and CI execution, sustaining plant KPI deliverables and eliminating waste to improve margins.

The role leads onsite CI efforts, applies Hochin, Kaizen and other Lean techniques, guides the CI group across maintenance and Operations, and runs 6S-focused events to improve yield and production processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required or preferred.
• At least 4 years of CI/Lean manufacturing experience in high-speed environments.
• Experience leading CI activities and change-management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement efforts.
• Utilize CI techniques such as Kaizen and 6S to remove waste and improve yield.
• Lead the CI group and coordinate with maintenance and Operations for site-wide improvements.
• Facilitate CI events to drive capital projects and production improvements.
• Engage production personnel to solicit and implement improvement ideas.
• Demonstrate ability to drive change and communicate CI activities across the organization.
• Demonstrate ability to lead groups and deliver continuous improvement training.

Job description

We are representing a FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader that will be responsible for Lean Manufacturing and CI strategy while executing deployment driving margin through sustainment of plant KPI's/deliverables and waste elimination.

Position Overview:

• Candidate will lead the onsite efforts on Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement.
• Act as a resource to the organization for the use of continuous improvement techniques such as the Hochin, Kaizen and various Lean Manufacturing techniques and other improvement methods.
• Lead the activities of the CI group including their interaction with maintenance function, Operations to drive site wide improvements.
• Facilitate special CI events activities to drive 6S, plant improvement performance in capitalizing on removing waste and improvement of yield, and production processes.
• Drives engagement with production personnel to participate suggest improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to effect change in a manufacturing environment and ensure improvement activity is being communicated, understood, and supported within the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate groups and deliver continuous improvement training.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in technical field is preferred/degree required.
• Candidate should possess at least 4 years of CI/Lean manufacturing experience within high speed manufacturing environments
