Job summary

Magna Seating is seeking a results-driven Lean Manufacturing professional to lead continuous improvement initiatives across production floors, drive Kaizen events, and sustain the Magna Production System (MPS) to reduce waste and raise quality.

You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Human Resources to deploy standardized work, time studies, value stream mapping, and data-driven problem solving, while mentoring teams and advancing plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Operational Excellence, or related roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading Kaizen events and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives across production floors.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and sustain Magna Production System practices across functions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and HR to implement standardized work and time studies.
• Coach and mentor teams on lean tools and problem-solving methodologies.
