Job summary

Job description

FORVIA is seeking a year‑round Continuous Improvement (FES) Intern for its Columbus, Indiana location.

Responsibilities

• Establish standards for the Division based on Best Practices.
• Develop model line and game concepts.
• Maintain the FES Shareplace and training calendar.
• Coach and train production employees.
• Update or create standardized work instructions.
• Participate in plant workshops (Hoshin, SMED, OEE).
• Improve direct labour efficiency through productivity improvements.
• Align production lines with the Production system standard assessment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Engineering degree (Industrial or Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Ability to travel during the internship.
• Strong computer skills and high level of organization.
• Good communication skills.
• Intermediate‑to‑advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Windows‑based software.
• Knowledge of Access, Visual Basic or equivalent is helpful.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
• Available to work year‑round.
