Job summary

Kenworth Truck Co. is seeking a Process Improvement professional to support PACCAR Production System High Performance Work Teams. You will drive improvements to safety, quality, cost, delivery, morale and environment (SQCDME) across the facility.

Responsibilities include developing and validating production processes, supporting standard work initiatives, and contributing to capital budgeting and cost-reduction projects. Strong lean, Six Sigma and AutoCAD skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Project management skills with ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and clear written/verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Lean/Six Sigma training or experience is required.
• AutoCAD software experience is preferred.
• Attendance is an essential function of this position.

Responsibilities

• Investigates, proposes, and implements improvements to facility, equipment, and processes to enhance SQCDME.
• Assists HPWTs in establishing and maintaining standard work and resolving production issues.
• Participates in CIT activities and drives SQCDME ideas to completion.
• Develops and validates production processes, creating process documentation for critical assembly steps.
• Supports PPS, cost reduction, warranty reduction, Six Sigma, lean, and other plant initiatives.
