Overview
Brooksource Engineering Services is seeking a Continuous Improvement & Technical Content Coach to support a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing partner. This hybrid role combines Continuous Improvement (CI) leadership with technical content development to drive operational excellence and build a scalable knowledge base across aseptic processing and device assembly/packaging operations.
You will partner with Business Area Leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to:
- Deliver impactful CI projects using Lean methodologies.
- Capture process knowledge and create engaging digital learning modules for operators, technicians, and engineers.
- This position is critical for accelerating onboarding, improving troubleshooting capabilities, and sustaining CI culture across the network.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, own, and deliver CI projects using foundational tools (5S, Root Cause Analysis, Standard Work).
- Facilitate workshops (Kaizen Events, A3 problem solving, process mapping).
- Deploy and improve CI systems (Daily Management System, A3 methodology).
- Provide CI and Operational Excellence training to all levels of employees.
- Apply CI methodologies to aseptic and packaging operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Technical Content Development
- Create high-quality video-based learning modules and supporting documentation for machine operations and troubleshooting.
- Utilize Lilly’s internal video platform (SpeechMe) to structure content into self-serve digital courses.
- Collaborate with SMEs to capture technical insights and record demonstrations.
- Build and maintain a centralized knowledge library for device assembly and packaging processes.
- Develop a structured content roadmap and track engagement metrics (views, completion rates).
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence.
- Strong knowledge of CI tools and methodologies (5S, Kaizen, A3 problem solving).
- Expertise in technical communication and instructional design.
- Familiarity with automated equipment, device assembly, or pharmaceutical packaging.
- Excellent facilitation, training, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in video editing software and digital learning platforms.
- Knowledge of GMP compliance and regulated environments.
- Degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or Instructional Design preferred.
Performance Metrics
- Successful delivery of CI projects and measurable efficiency improvements.
- Number of training modules created and published per quarter.
- Engagement analytics and feedback from operators/technicians.
