Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to analyze processes, identify opportunities, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives that boost efficiency, quality and overall performance. You will work with multiple departments to align improvements with business goals and foster a culture of excellence.

You will develop training, track projects from planning to completion, analyze data for root causes, and maintain SOPs while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills required.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S or other improvement methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track continuous improvement projects from planning to completion.
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs focused on process improvement, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify inefficiencies, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs, implement process changes and standard practices.
  • Facilitate meetings, training sessions, and improvement workshops.
  • Monitor results of improvement efforts and prepare progress and performance reports.
  • Document improvement activities, including project timelines, outcomes, and savings.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Position Summary

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator supports the organization’s continuous improvement efforts by analyzing processes, identifying opportunities, and coordinating initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and overall performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of project management or data analysis tools a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S or other improvement methodologies preferred. Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
