AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment, ensuring continual access to our customers. Our team works on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, and we seek talented individuals to join us.

You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Collaborating across AWS, you'll help deliver high standards for safety and security while providing extensive capacity at low cost. The Continuous Improvement Associate will support Kaizen projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and operational effectiveness. Responsibilities include identifying inefficiencies, conducting research and benchmarking, proposing process improvements, assisting with sustainability projects like waste reduction, maintaining SOPs, organizing workshops, and tracking performance metrics. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to implement and measure process changes effectively.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Support Kaizen projects and related initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  2. Assist with sustainability projects, including waste reduction initiatives in data centers.
  3. Identify inefficiencies and propose process enhancements to improve operational effectiveness.
  4. Conduct research and benchmarking to adopt best practices for process improvements.
  5. Organize workshops, training sessions, and team discussions on continuous improvement.
  6. Maintain and update SOPs related to Kaizen activities.
  7. Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to track progress.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and assess process changes.

- 1+ years of support experience with Windows, Mac, or Linux in a corporate setting
- Troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
- Maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and handheld terminals

- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware, AWS, or similar
- Experience in dynamic environments with high customer service standards
