Job description

We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Analyst to support the continuous improvement projects at our facility. If you have successful 3PL (Third-party Logistics) industrial or continuous improvement engineering experience and are motivated by being a key player in Lean Six or Kaizen projects, consider joining Kuehne+Nagel in Piscataway, NJ.

Your Role

In this role, you will utilize Lean Six Sigma knowledge for continuous improvement project execution. The Continuous Improvement Analyst is the most active promoter of the continuous improvement culture across the site locally.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will manage the site's Continuous Improvement (CI) program for quality and productivity, including the management of Kaizen activities and Lean Six projects.
  • Support the implementation of projects working with Operations.
  • Align projects and CI activity to meet both Production System Savings targets and the region's productivity improvement targets.
  • Ensure savings for the site are validated with financial controllers and data integrity is maintained.
  • You will support the development of productivity management tools within the site to ensure measurement and monitoring of productivity.
  • Support operations in the development of Kuehne and Nagel Excellence levels in the site from Blue through Gold.
  • Some travel will be necessary from time to time for training and classes.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Continuous Improvement experience for 1-2 years.
  • 2-3 years in a Warehousing environment.
  • Lean Six Yellow Belt is a plus.
  • Ability to travel for training and classes as needed.
