Job summary

The Department of Homeland Security Headquarters seeks a Detail, not a Developmental Rotation, to support the Continuity Exercise Program Lead Series. This is a one-year non-reimbursable assignment for current, full-time federal employees.

The role focuses on planning and conducting continuity exercises, developing ground truth documents, and producing After-Action Reports to inform DHS investments in continuity programs. Telework is eligible; the posting closes 2026-11-11.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and conduct of DHS continuity exercises (Mission Resilience/Eagle Horizon).
• Assist in designing exercises that validate activation, relocation, essential functions, and communication.
• Develop exercise products, including ground truth documents and scenario injects.
• Assist in documenting exercise findings in After-Action Reports (AARs).
• Support post-exercise debriefing and evaluation, including collecting feedback and identifying improvements.
