Continuing Education - Youth Academy High School ACT and SAT Test Prep Tutor

College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty members to teach Youth Academy High School ACT and SAT Test Prep and Tutoring. Successful candidates will teach in a multicultural environment with a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, and weekends.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Adjunct Faculty instructors are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be delivered face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, or blended. They must evaluate students and submit required paperwork promptly.

Required Qualifications

• The hourly wage is $33.99.
• ACT and/or SAT test prep experience is required.
• Minimum two years’ experience teaching high school students is preferred.
• Position is face‑to‑face on main campus in Glen Ellyn, IL, Westmont, and Naperville Center. Some online options are available.
• Potential candidates must be able to teach in person. Priority is given to instructors who have availability to teach at all three campuses during the summer, fall, and spring terms.
• Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching is preferred. Access to personal technology and a home computer with appropriate ability to teach online is required.

These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments. A pre‑employment background check at the College of DuPage’s expense is required.
