Prior Teaching or training experience
Adult or K-12 educational background, in English; Cross-cultural and/or secondary language acquisition skills; Ability to accommodate different learning styles with sensitivity to diverse cultures in a student-centered, task-based classroom; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Strong interpersonal skills; Creativity and enthusiasm in providing an environment conducive to learning.
Under general supervision instruction of English as a Second Language for non-credit courses at a technical college. Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives. Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports. Attends in-service training and workshops. Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area.
