Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Urgent Care team. You will operate imaging equipment and obtain quality digital images for interpretation by physicians, while following sterile technique and patient safety protocols.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, positioning for exams, and entering orders into the EMR. The role offers rotating shifts with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and shift differentials for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or equivalent.
• CPR certification and ARRT registration; for bone densitometry ISCD certification or eligible within 90 days.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures using aseptic/sterile technique.
• Position patients for radiologic examination.
• Perform radiographic procedures to produce digitized images.
• May operate bone density equipment.
• Enter medication, orders, and radiology data into the EMR.

Radiology Technologist within Urgent Care!

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Radiology Technologist to join our Urgent Care team. In this role, you will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain quality digital images of designated body positions for interpretation by physicians.

What You'll Do

• Prepares patients for procedures utilizing aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Positions patients for radiologic examination.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures through the application of ionizing radiation to produce digitized images.
• May operate diagnostic bone density equipment
• Directly enters medication, laboratory, and/or radiology orders into the electronic medical record system.

What We're Looking For

• EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience. For those obtaining Bone Density images, graduation from an accredited school of clinical densitometry technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: Valid CPR certification. Valid registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. For those obtaining Bone Density images, valid certification by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry or ability to become certified within 90 days of hire.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years’ prior experience helpful, but not required.
