Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Urgent Care team. You will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain digitized images for interpretation by physicians, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role emphasizes patient preparation, sterile technique, and accurate image capture, with opportunities to work rotating shifts and benefit from a sign-on bonus and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or equivalent.
• CPR certification and ARRT registration; for bone density imaging, ISCD certification or ability to become certified within 90 days of hire.
• 1-2 years’ prior experience helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for procedures utilizing aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Positions patients for radiologic examination.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures through the application of ionizing radiation to produce digitized images.
• May operate diagnostic bone density equipment
• Directly enters medication, laboratory, and/or radiology orders into the electronic medical record system.

Bone density imaging education or ISCD certification / eligible within 90 days

Job description

Description: This position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Hours of Operation: M-F, 8am-10pm; Sat/Sun, 8am-8pm.

Employment Type: Part time.

Shift: Rotating Shift.

Urgent Care offers shift differentials for all shifts: $2.00 per hour during regular business hours $4.00 per hour after 5pm and weekends.

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Radiology Technologist to join our Urgent Care team. In this role, you will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain quality digital images of designated body positions for interpretation by physicians.

What You'll Do

• Prepares patients for procedures utilizing aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Positions patients for radiologic examination.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures through the application of ionizing radiation to produce digitized images.
• May operate diagnostic bone density equipment
• Directly enters medication, laboratory, and/or radiology orders into the electronic medical record system.

What We're Looking For

• EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience. For those obtaining Bone Density images, graduation from an accredited school of clinical densitometry technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: Valid CPR certification. Valid registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. For those obtaining Bone Density images, valid certification by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry or ability to become certified within 90 days of hire.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years’ prior experience helpful, but not required.
