Job summary

Henry Ford Rehabilitation - Dearborn is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the outpatient team. You will perform comprehensive OT evaluations and implement treatment plans to develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills.

Your work directly supports patients on their journey to regain independence and improve quality of life. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, educating patients and families on adaptive techniques, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Current State of Michigan licensure.
• CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Experienced Hand Therapist (2–3 years) or Certified Hand Therapist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve daily living and work skills.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
