Position Summary

The contingent Faculty instructor will teach sections of FYEX Seminar, a 1-credit hour course, designed to integrate first-year students into higher education.

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary duty is effective teaching of college-level student success courses. This includes developing and revising instructional materials; presenting material in an organized manner; evaluating student learning; maintaining student records; teaching at the main campus; maintaining a minimum of 1 office hour per week per assigned course; participating in Adjunct Professional Development activities

Minimum Qualifications

• Successful candidates must have a master’s degree.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in any field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 1 – 2 years of experience of instruction.
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
