First Onsite Restoration is seeking a Contents Technician I to join a fast-paced team focused on recovering belongings after fire, water, or other damage.

You will learn tools and techniques of restoration, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to a team that makes a tangible difference for families and communities. This entry-level position emphasizes safety, record-keeping, and teamwork as you develop in the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in restoration or related field
• High attention to detail with strong organization and teamwork
• Basic cleaning techniques for water, fire, and mold restoration
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear PPE in varying environments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using mobile devices
• Certifications such as WRT/FSRT/OCT are encouraged
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule
• Physical labor, material handling, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces

Responsibilities

• Assist in packing and organizing belongings after fire damage
• Restore items damaged by water, smoke, or mold
• Keep detailed records of restoration processes
• Maintain safe and clean work areas and follow safety protocols
• Operate and learn restoration equipment under supervision
• Coordinate with team to ensure efficient, quality restoration
