Job summary

FRSTeam is seeking a Contents Restoration Technician to assess, inventory, pack, move, and store all contents from customers’ residences, and to clean and restore contents damaged by water, fire, smoke, and mold. The role supports the Crew Lead and Project Manager, performing cleanup, documentation, and transport between sites.

The position requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds; a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally

Responsibilities

• Perform production processes, cleaning, and other labor-intensive tasks.
• Inventory and load the vehicle with equipment and supplies for each project.
• Clean contents (textiles, electronics, clothing, household goods, furniture) after fire/smoke damage using appropriate methods.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely (ultrasonic machines, ozone chambers, HEPA vacuums, hand tools).
• Photo inventory and documentation of contents before cleaning or packing.
• Inspect and document contents for damage, including pre-existing conditions.
• Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
• Communicate with Crew Lead and Project Manager to maintain efficient production.
• Perform end-of-day cleanup and leave worksite orderly.
• Maintain documentation with before-and-after photos and checklists.
• Drive company vehicles to and from job sites.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
